Fulfill your Quest for Art Education with this unique, educational and entertaining event. Open to all painters with
the desire to expand their painting skills through these outstanding classes and special assembly programs.

Activities begin with "Check In Registration" on April 22 at 2 p.m. Held at the Harrah's Council Fire Convention Center, this is the time to get checked in for both the conference and to your lodging room, meet the teachers and staff, shop for any needed materials from the teachers and from the Art Quest store, visit with old friends and make new ones.

The "Opening Reception" will be held that evening at 7 p.m.

Each day will begin at 8 a.m. with a group "Full Breakfast" and an "Assembly Program" with demonstrations and guest speakers This will be followed by the painting classes from 9:15 a.m. until 5 p.m. with a one hour lunch break.

Painting instruction will be designed for the intermediate level painter with moderate teacher assistance.

Classes and events will be held in the very spacious conference center rooms with easy access to the Harrah's Hotel and restaurants. Also within easy access are the Harrah's Event Center, Casino and shops. Upon arrival each attendee will be given a listing of galleries, specialty shops and points of interest close by as well.

Early registration for Art Quest 2012

Registration will be $575 for full time attendees and $225 for guests. Deposit due at registration - $275 for Painters, $100 for Guests. Final payment is due no later than February 15, 2012. After February 15, 2012 the fee will be $600 for Painters and $225 for Guests. Check, Money Order, Visa or Master Card are accepted. The Painters fee includes instructional fees, paints and medium, painting surfaces, the Opening Reception, Breakfast and Assemblies, the Spirit Banquet, Entertainment, daily free drawings, participation in a special auction and more!!! The Guest fee includes all of the above except attendance in the classrooms, instructional fees and class materials. Only registration for the entire event will be accepted until February 15, 2012.

After February 15, 2012, registration for single days will be accepted on a space available basis. The fee for each single day is $150 and includes the materials and fees for that day's painting class and any extra activities for that day. It does not include the Opening Reception or Spirit Banquet but tickets for those activities may be purchased.

Cancellations will be honored with a refund of deposit less a $50 handling fee per person up until March 1, 2012. No refund should be expected after that time. However, for cancellations that become necessary for any reason after March 1, all class materials possible as well as any bonus materials given during the week will be collected and sent to the appropriate address at Art Quest's expense.

Chuck is a retired Vibration Analysis Specialist for Crompton Corporation, a professional
picture framer, teacher for adult education and co-owner of Gorrell Enterprises.
