Homecoming
Hues Painting Retreat is
an independently sponsored
and hosted event,
open to all painters with the desire to expand
their
painting skills through outstanding classes
and special assembly programs.
"Homecoming Hues"
An Artists Painting Retreat
Four days of outstanding art instruction with the possibility of a fifth, plus extra events and
materials that makes this a dynamic event for the aspiring painter and their guests as well!!!

Two 'add on' classes will be offered by
Carol Hoffman in acrylics/oils and Kitty Gorrell teaching in oils.

Activities
begin with “Registration” on September
7 at 2
p.m. Held
at the North Bend Lodge, this will give everyone time
to get checked in for both the retreat and to their room,
shop for any needed materials from the teachers, visit
with old friends and make new ones, and have a leisurely
dinner in the Lodge dining room. The “Opening
Reception” will be held that evening at 7
p.m.
Painting
classes will be held on September 8, 9, 10 and 11 from 9
a.m. until 4:30
p.m. each
The add on classes will be held on September 12 from 9 AM till 4:30 PM.
In
addition to the outstanding painting classes during Homecoming
Hues, there will also be the “Opening Reception”, "Breakfast and Evening Assemblies" with demonstrations and guest speakers, an “Art
Exhibit” with awards and prizes, and a "Garden Party Banquet including Lively Entertainment", plus extra fun activities, and more!!
Early
bird registration for Homecoming Hues 2010 will be
$450 for full time attendees and $175 for guests. Deposit
due at registration - $200 for Painters and $75 for
Guests. Final payment is due no later than July
15, 2010. After July
15, 2010 the
fee will be $475
for Painters and $200 for Guests. Check,
Money Order, Master Card or Visa are accepted.
The Painters fee includes instructional fees, paints and
medium, painting surfaces, the Opening Reception, Breakfast and Evening
Assemblies, the Garden Party Banquet and Entertainment, and more!!! The Guest fee includes all of the
above except attendance in the classrooms, instructional
fees and class materials. Only registration for the entire
event will be accepted until July
15, 2010.
After that date, registration for single days will be
accepted on a space available basis. The fee for each
single day is $125 and includes all morning activities and the materials and fees for that day's painting class. It does not include the Opening Reception or Garden Party Banquet, but tickets for those activities may be purchased.
The Sunday 'Add On' class will be $85 and include all materials equal to the regular Homecoming Hues classes.
Cancellations
will be honored with a refund of deposit less a $50
handling fee per person up until August
1, 2010.
No refund should be expected after that time.
Painting instruction will be designed for the intermediate level painter with moderate teacher assistance.
Classes will be held in the North Bend Lodge conference rooms and the picturesque #3 Shelter. The shelter is large, fully covered and well lighted, with plenty of space and atmosphere. A  next to a class listing indicates that it will be held at the open air shelter. All classes require one day to complete with the exception of the Dorothy Dent Design Workshop which requires two days.
